Backlinks popularity has turned out to be so “well-liked” – for lack of a better word – online recently. The more backlinks one has from alike themed websites, the more the search engines have a tendency to support them in the search engine rankings.
So how do you build up the links that help you expand strong link popularity?
• Exchange links with other web masters. There are ample of web masters online, several in your niche or market area, who would love to exchange links with you, just as you give anything for exchange links with them.
So how do you do it? Type in your keyword to the search engines, and email a letter to all of the top-fifty web masters for that keyword. Lots of them will take no notice of your email, others will reply positively.
One word of Warning: set your links on links page containing less than 20 links each, and link to that page from your main page. NEVER set your links on your main page – you will bleed away in excess of your search engine rankings when they come from your main page.
Second Advice: Web sites to which you link that have a Google pagerank or can negatively impact you, so it is important that you check the pr of your outbound links once in a while, or more than ever if your search engine rankings fall.
• Submit your web site to web directories online. There are quite a lot of lists online of up to 500 web directories; arrange them by pagerank and submit to the top 100.
• Write articles, put text anchor links in the articles, linking back to your web pages, and submit them to top 100 web directories online. Again, there are lists of up to 900 online; arrange them in accordance with pagerank; useful suggestion: there are about 120 with pagerank of at least 4.
