Google Analytics (GA), in simple language, it is a website tracking tool that helps introducing a tracking code into the websites.
“Google Analytics (abbreviated GA) is a free service offered by Google that generates detailed statistics about the visitors to a website. Its main highlight is that the product is aimed at marketers as opposed to webmasters and technologists from which the industry of web analytics originally grew” – (Source: Wikipedia).
Google Analytics helps in generating productive keywords which are search engine friendly. Hence, it should be set well before implementation. It is pretty easy to setup Google Analytics, so no need to be a technical expert. The process consists of a few easy steps:
- Go to google.com/accounts/ManageAccount and click Analytics
- Click add website profiles
- Enter website address into the field
- http:// or the hyper text protocol is already there.
- The code automatically seen in the picture provided.
- Click on the code and hold down control and hit A to select all of the text.
- Hold down control and hit C to copy the text to the clipboard
- Visit website or blog and paste the code.
- Go back to your Google Analytics account and click finish.
A lot of marketing experts says that Google Analytics tool is created for marketers who work on specific tags and search engine friendly keywords to make the most of it. On another hand, webmasters are not agreed with this and says that Google Analytics does not support SEO. Webmasters says that Google Analytics only supports effective website traffic analysis which is needed by webmasters while they are producing a website.
Whereas google is having its own opinion. As said Google Analytics provides a combinated platform to internet marketers and webmasters who work on small to small details of effective search engine optimization.

Microsoft announced Friday night that computer enthusiasts will have a while longer to get their hands on the beta version of Windows 7.
Microsoft said that the test version of the operating system will be available for download through Feb. 10. Previously, Microsoft had said that the OS would only be open through late this month.
“We are at a point where we have more than enough beta testers and feedback coming in to meet our engineering needs, so we are beginning to plan the end of general availability for Windows 7 Beta,” Microsoft’s Brandon LeBlanc said in the blog posting. “Because enthusiasm continues to be so high for the Windows 7 Beta and we don’t want anyone to miss out we will keep the Beta downloads open through February 10th.”
Those who start the download process before Feb. 10 will have until Feb. 12 to finish the task.
The deadline applies to the general public, while members of Microsoft’s TechNet and MSDN developer programs will continue to have access to the code, LeBlanc said.
CEO Steve Ballmer announced the beta of Windows 7 during his speech at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas on Jan 7. After a slight hiccup, Microsoft made the code available on Jan. 10.
